A three-story building collapse in Bhiwandi near Mumbai, today at 3.40 am, 10 died in the collapse.
This happened in the Patel compound area, 25 people are rescued after the Mumbai building collapse. 31 people rescued from the rubble, as per initial information.

In the building, lived around 20 families with an average age group of 40 years. Reports said the building was around 43 years old with 40 flats, accommodating 150 people.
According to the reports, the building was already vacated partly for the repair purpose by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).
Kishori Pednekar, Mumbai Mayor said the site was earlier declared as the ‘dangerous structure’. BMC also gave notices regarding it.
