Mahatma Gandhi’s photographs were displayed on Friday night at the famous building of Burj Khalifa, Saudi Arabia, to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Bapu, a priest of truth and non-violence. His pictures and messages were displayed on the Burj Khalifa to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi, a symbol of peace.
The Indian Consulate official in Dubai said earlier this week that the special Gandhi program on Burj Khalifa would be streamed live on social media platforms. Embassy officials had said that we thank Emaar for cooperating in this work.
Along with this, Embassy officials are also organizing a cleanliness program in the mission’s premises. At the same time, there are also plans to plant 151 saplings at various places with the cooperation of the Indian community living in Dubai. Along with this, various types of competitions and programs are also being organized.
Earlier in the year 2018, a special LED show was organized on the Burj Khalifa on the 149th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The event was organized by the Embassy of India, the Indian Consulate and Emaar Properties. Pictures of Gandhi and Tiranga were also displayed in 2019.
