Health Ministry Launched Covid-19 Online Portal

The Union Health Ministry has launched on Monday an online portal for all Covid-19 related information. This web portal will have all the updates, the latest information about the coronavirus disease.

According to the Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the online portal will have all updates regarding the research development, information on Clinical trials of the vaccine in India, the launch date details of the Vaccine, and all other information.

“An online portal about the Covid-19 vaccine has been launched. Everyone will be able to go online to that portal and look up all contemporary research-development and clinical trials related information. It will also provide information about other vaccinations provided in the country,” said Dr. Harsh Vardhan in a report.

The First Vaccine in India is said to be available by the first quarter of 2021, according the the Health Ministry.

“Research to develop a vaccine is being done expeditiously. There are at least 3 viable such vaccine candidates that are in the phase of clinical trials right now in the country. We’re hopeful that within the 1st quarter of 2021 it will be available,” Dr. Harsh Vardhan also added.

The current Covid cases in India have crossed 60 Lakh mark, with hit of 82,170 new cases and deaths numbered to 95,542.
