Apple To Launch Its First Online Store In India On 23rd September

The American Tech Giant has announced that it is going to open its first Apple online retail store in India on 23rd September 2020.

Till now, Apple was selling products in India through the online and offline medium with the help of E-commerce and offline partners but with Apple Online Store, everything will change.

It is the first time that the company is opening a first-party retail channel in the Indian nation.

The company has also announced that it will open a specially dedicated education store for India, which will offer special pricing on Mac computers, iPad tablets, their accessories, and Apple’s premium support option, called AppleCare Plus.

Along with selling all the variants of different Apple products, the online stores will also include its customer care local center for the first time. It has also integrated UPI and cash on delivery (COD) payment options, among others.

“One thing we’ve learned is when we enter the market with Apple Retail, all boats rise,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Senior Vice President of Retail and People at Apple. “It creates tremendous interest in our products, which are available on our online store and through our network of trusted resellers, allowing us to connect with our customers where they are. As of today, Apple Store Online is selling a wide range of Apple products,” she added.
